I’m Anton Motornenko, a theoretical physicist. Currently I work at Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies where I hold Stern-Gerlach postdoctoral fellowship supported by Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft. My research is mainly focused on the properties of nuclear/QCD matter at extreme conditions that can be created in heavy ion collisions and neutron stars. For these I employ numerical simulations which use thousands of computer cores.
I received a Dr. phil. nat. degree from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Before that I studied theoretical physics with focus on Quantum Field theory at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine.
